(formerly Shanghai Xi 'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd.) was invested and founded in Shanghai in June 2002 by China XD Electric Co., Ltd., and located in Qingpu Industrial Park. Its registered capital is 140 million yuan, and is mainly engaged in research and development, production and sales of 126kV ~ 252kV gas insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS).
After the technological innovation and market development of recent years, now the company has obtained a number of patents authorisation (utility model), and the technical level of five varieties of products of two categories isall on the top of China.  At present it has become a leading professional manufacturer of 126kV and 252kV gas insulated metal switch equipment (GIS) in China.
In November 2003，it got GB/T19001-2008/ISO 90012008 Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity from Shanghai Audit Center of Quality System（Certificate registration No.: 0303Q10889R0S）.

In December 2009, it passed the supervision and audit from Shanghai Audit Center of Quality System and obtained GB/T19001-2008/ISO 9001：2008 Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity （Certificate registration No.: 00309Q20860R2M）.
In April 2012, it passed the supervision and audit from Shanghai Audit Center of Quality System and obtained GB/T19001-2008/ISO 9001：2008 Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity （Certificate registration No.: 00312Q20248R3M）, the Quality Management System continuously works efficiently.
